SENSIENT (live - zenon records)

...with support from :

JEWELZ (BIG:RED:BUS)

MENNO (BIG:RED:BUS)

JAYSON HOLDEN

TONY LOUCAS (BIG:RED:BUS)

 Next trip Oct 3rd, 09

...indeed, with tetrameth returning for his first show back from a world tour taking in the sights of the nevada desert whilst rocking BURNING MAN, as well as it being his first appearance at the bus in almost a
year...its going to be dynamite...!!! it will also be sensient's first show down south for the past 6 months and first at the bus, the zenon-label double-act is sure to light up the dancefloor with a selection of the deepest n quirkiest progressive psychedelia...

jewelz and menno are long time favourites of the bus, having played at numerous club gigs @ myAeon as well as our festival stages & events in recent years. jewelz has evolved her tough & dirty progressive style to include many psychedelic & techno elements, always keeping the dancefloor mesmerised. menno has lately branched out from his signature progressive psytrance with some more dynamic sounds, very psychedelic and certainly energetic.

jayson holden has come outta hiding to join us at the bus, he's played on our renegade sound stage back when we were in the rainbow carpark and has also been responsible for 'ascend' progressive club nights a few years back not to mention playing at earlier maya festivals...his tunes are still solid n we're very keen to have him onboard. tony loucas returns this month to play a harder progressive sound infusing tech-trance & manic breaks with a definite psychedelic edge...why not he says :p

...also,
we'd like to take this oportunity to thank everyone who came along on saturday night, another great night with an amazing vibe n music from all moreso thanks to everyone who contributed to the collection tin for
Still Wild Still Threatened, once we're able to pass the tin onto kitty we'll get a count for you all...love your work

Quality Music : Perfect Sound : Professional Service – RED:BUS-GREEN:EVENT

Formed in 2003, this small group of friends spend their spare time committed to delivering the highest quality sustainable and environmentally friendly events to the music and festival industry across Australia and primarily in Victoria.   Based around a bio-diesel fueled (and increasingly famous) 1970s red London double-decker bus, our service offering includes our own 20Kva bio-diesel generator, solar panels and wind turbines, inverters and battery banks powering a range of Funktion

One sound systems (the World's most efficient and best sounding systems) and low wattage lighting systems. We manufacture our own bio-diesel from used cooking oil that we collect from local businesses and, as the bus also runs on this fuel, this makes our entire operation alternative, sustainable and with zero carbon emissions. Our inventory also includes staging, décor, props, band and DJ equipment, plus we can supply a fully programmed stage of local, national and international acts from our database. We can also offer professional design and promotion services, stage management, event project management and environmental auditing services. We market our own events through our BIG:RED:BUS promotional arm and have hosted many stages for large festivals as well as entire indoor and outdoor events of our own. We have previously been part of such events as the Rainbow Serpent Festival, the Sustainable Living Festival, St. Kilda Festival, Earthcore Carnival, Yalukit Willam Ngargee, Submerge Festival, Earthdance, Maya Project, Akasha Festival, Blessington Street Festival, Earthcore in the Park, High-Vibes Northcote Festival and The Big Switch Off.

Our team includes experienced electricians, DJs, performers, graphic artists, décor artists, lighting technicians, stage and production managers to ensure that we can deliver an entire turn-key event - sustainably. We also have partners who can supply every other element including waterless and self-composting toilet systems and waste management services that maximize recycling opportunities.

Our services are for hire, in part or as a complete tailored package, to groups who seriously wish to lessen their impact on the planet, who perhaps want to ‘green-up’ their event and those who wish to educate their attendees in an environmentally conscious way of living and partying.
